Driving for the Olympics?

Vague. Definitely the word I would use if I were asked to discribe our border crossing instructions in only one. "Uh... Yeah I guess we're thinking about meeting at the Canadian border on the fifteenth of January. Or maybe the fourteenth." This was our newly acquired boss. "Yeah I'll give you guys a call in a couple weeks and let you know." It was December 29th.
So... we went. We were too excited about our super awesome olympic adventure to worry about little details like... anything. Besides, everytime I asked a question they avoided it and distracted me with something or made me feel guilty about asking the question in the first place. For example: Me: "So... what kind of buses are we driving up there anyways?" Boss: "Don't be a wuss, want a soda?"
Anyways one thing led to another, we signed open ended contracts and planned an elaborate road trip in the general direction of... North.

Waiver

I just want to cover a few minor issues that sometimes come up. A. Sometimes I use language that some people consider offensive or rude (dipshit or asswad for example). I would like to apologize in advance to these people. Also I would suggest either not reading my blog... or dealing with reality. B. I write this blog for fun so I don't appreciate serious critical comments. C. Last but definitely not least, I want to clarify that not everything I write about is factual or of the complete truth. This is because sometimes the truth is boring. I strongly urge you as a reader to take everything lightheartedly and with a grain of salt. That being said... You'd be surprised how much is actual truth.

So... here's my new blog.

The Hobo Drifters are no more. I am now a one-man wolf pack (with a few other people). I spent the first part of 2010 in a storage container in Whistler B.C. Working for the 2010 Winter Olympics wasn't quite the adventure I had hoped it would be. Limited internet access and a certain amount of some unknown alement inhibited my ability to blog while in Canada. That being said... here I am and I will tell the story of Canada periodically in several parts. I am however currently living in Alaska so I will also be mixing in some current events. Not that anybody reads my blog anyways but I hope to make you laugh and hopefully cry but most of all I hope to make you all hate Canada.
